Swiftwick is the Best Hiking, Backpacking, and Athletic Sock

Finding a good, quality sock for outdoor enthusiasts or athletes can be a nightmare. Taking care of your feet is very important if you have an active lifestyle because if you don’t, it can lead to injury and even illness. I have the hardest time finding a sock that not only works for my life but also looks great. Because I have such moist and large feet (size eleven women’s), it is even more difficult.

I hate having cold or wet feet. I have tried many brands over the years, but until now, I haven’t found one that not only keeps my feet dry and warm but also one that gives me the right support. I usually wear men’s socks, but they don’t look great. That is why I am happy that I found Swiftwick. It is the first time that I have taken a hike and my feet were left comfortable and dry. Plus the extra support was a bonus. **These socks were sent to me free of charge. I only review items that I love. this post may contain affiliate links.

I was able to try the Vision sock. It was the crew-style and this particular sock is made for high-performance activities, particularly cycling and running. The Vision has a moderate cushion and medium compression which made my feet feel so much better.

What do I love about Swiftwick? I love that Swiftwick has a sock for every activity. You can often pick the cuff hight and choose what sock suits you in regards to support and compression. Swiftwick makes socks for hiking, cycling, backpacking, golfing, running, snow sports, adaptive sports, fitness and many other activities. Swiftwick socks are durable and made to last. They also donate a portion of their proceeds to charitable initiatives. It is such a great sock! You can choose a sock either by activity or by the type of support you are looking for. That is pretty awesome in my book because it comes as close to customizing and tailoring to your personal needs as you can get. There is even a quiz so that you can find the perfect sock for you. Some of their product lines include the following:

  • Flite XT- ideal for running, golf and tennis
  • Aspire- ideal for running and cycling
  • Pursuit- ideal for running, trail running, hiking or cycling
  • Pursuit Hike- ideal for day hikes, backpacking and mountaineering expeditions

I am in love with this brand. I even purchased the Pursuit and the Pursuit Hike because I was so excited about finally finding the perfect sock. My feet have never been happier. With the merino wool and moisture-wicking design, I had warm and dry feet. So no more soggy toes when I am in the backcountry or the slopes. If you want to take a look at why I am so excited, you can check them out at Swiftwick.com. Do your feet a favor. And remember, don’t let your feet prevent you from being outside with no limits.

I have not heard of this brand. I have been looking for something for my teen with STINKY feet. I think moisture absorption is the answer, but nothing lasts long with him. Might give this a try!
