If you have been following along, then you already know that I am a huge fan of MONTyBOCA. And if you haven’t, I am going to tell you about something that will change the way you eat on all of your outdoor adventures. What is MONTyBOCA? MONTyBOCA was created by Chef Corso, an online community that is revolutionizing the way people eat on the trails and outdoors. Chef Corso strongly believes that you should eat well and fuel your body and mind with creative and healthy meals, without compromising ingredients and flavor.
This past December, he published his first-ever cookbook, the pocket-size “Trail Meals: Origin Edition”. With twenty delicious recipes, this little book should be added to anyone’s backpack, adventure kit or bug out bag. I have tried every recipe in that book and a few more, and our family favorites are the Dirtbag Egg Benedict, the Caramelized Bananas With ‘Nilla Wafers and the Garlic Chicken With Artichokes and Mashed Potatoes.
Each recipe has no more than ten ingredients, includes the weight of all ingredients for the meal and tips. As a family, this has really elevated our food experiences on the trail. So much in fact, that we are signed up as recipe testers.
