Camping craft projects are so much fun when you are family camping. crafts are awesome, but I prefer the ready-to-make craft kits. They are all ready to go, with less mess, and no headache. And because everything comes in a box, you don’t have to worry about leaving no trace.
Camping crafts are a great way to bond and be creative. It also makes a little souvenir of your camping trip. I didn’t always like crafts. I thought it was a waste of time and that camping should be spent being outside and enjoying the great outdoors. And then we had a family reunion. Someone brought crafts and all the little kids spent the whole time outside creating together. It will forever be “the reunion with the crafts”.
Many of these craft ideas have now become camping traditions. Because it’s not just about the stuff, it’s about the connections and fun. I have included a list of our favorite craft kits for camping for all ages. I have also included craft kits that are camp-themed. Most of these kits would also be great for a camping-themed party or backyard camping. And some of these camping craft ideas are for adults too.

One year, my brother-in-law made all of the grandkids paracord bracelets. I have also seen lots of cool and practical crafts made from paracord. I used the paracord from a survival bracelet last year when I was camping as a clothesline and paracord is one of my top ten camping essentials.
