myCharge Adventure Max Gear Review

Almost everything has to be be charged these days. In a world of technology, we use tech on a daily basis. You use your phone or laptop every day. Your phone is your camera, note pad, and stereo all in one, and many people take work home with them. So what do you do when you are outdoors? Your car charger can only get you so far, and you don’t want that to be the thing that keeps you from your adventures. It is also impractical to run the car so you can charge your devices and sometimes you can only charge one device at a time. That is why we like the myCharge Adventure Max Portable Charger.

When we are camping or backpacking, we charge multiple things besides our phones. We have Bluetooth speakers, headlamps, tablets (for the car drive), table and hanging lamps, and cameras. We also use our phone for maps, and navigation. We have tried solar chargers before, but they are not the most reliable. Solar chargers have to be aimed directly at the sun, and with the sun moving, we always had to continuously adjust the charger. Also, they are not the most durable and can break easily. So having a portable charger is really important to us. There are a lot of different chargers out there, but they haven’t necessarily met our needs as a family. What is the myCharge Adventure Max? It is a re-chargeable portable charger for your devices. By using a USB connector, you can charge between 1-2 devices at the same time. It is useful and compatible to charge smartphones, tablets, eReaders, MP3 players, Bluetooth speakers and even some of the newer and smaller laptops. The myCharge Adventure Max has the following features:

First of all, it’s easy to recharge. It take less than two hours to fully charge it, and I did this twice. There are small lights on the side that show you if its been charged, or if it is charging. All you need is a USB cable. I charged it in the house and also in the car using the cigarette lighter. It had the same charge time, regardless of how I charged it.

Second, it is very durable. The rubber case keeps it dirt-proof, splash-resistant and drop resistant. The plug-ins are easily covered with a durable cover that fits snugly in place. There is even a built-in carabiner clip so that you can easily attach it to a belt, backpack, tent hooks or para cord.

Third, you can charge more than one device at a time. This is a neat feature not common in portable chargers. You can also charge it while charging your devices.

If you want something less or more powerful, you can check out the myCharge Adventure Mini, the myCharge Adventure Plus or the myCharge Adventure Ultra which has also has an AC adapter and up to 8x extra battery power.The myCharge Ultra would be great especially if you needed an outlet hand like to blow up an air mattress or use a hair dryer.
